1945 wurde die Laterne mitsamt der Optik durch Artilleriebeschuss zerst?¶rt. Acht am Leuchtturm angebrachte Sprengladungen wurden von den abziehenden deutschen Truppen nicht gez??ndet und konnten nach Kriegsende entsch?¤rft werden. 1948 wurde der Leuchtturm nach alten Dokumenten wiederhergestellt. Er bekam eine aus Schweden importierte Optik und als Lichtquelle eine elektrische Gl??hlampe. Am 18. Dezember 1948 nahm der Leuchtturm den Betrieb wieder auf.
