Chrome Island is located just off the southern tip of Denman Island and about a mile east of Vancouver Island near Deep Bay. It was built in 1891 and is still active. The current tower was built in 1989 and stands 25 feet (7.5m) high. This photo was taken near Deep Bay a mile away from the lightouse.
