Hello Stef, can you reach this lighthouse with a normal family car?
Next week we are going to scotland again and this one is on our list to do.
At another site I read that a 4x4 was recommended.

4 weeks later:
We have been there, and indeed very steep for the last 1,5 miles, even with a 4x4 it ain't easy I think.
But there is a locked gate so you have to walk the last 1.5 miles anyway.
The way to the gate is narrow but you can do it with a normal car.
