After 4 years we went back to the scottish lighthouses 2010 we did the isle of skye and lewis and harris.
2011 germany
2012 nothing
2013 newcastle to hull
and now scotland again.
First Ardnamurchan, we had misscalculate(?) that so it became a race against time.
Ardnamurchan was a dissapointment, there was a parking outside the enclosure of the lighthouse, and one inside.
It's a wonder that there wasn't a car on top of the lighthouse.
And if there haddend be a single car....Ardnamurchan has a mysterious name but it's just a tower, they even didn't paint it.:-))
From there we went to the isle of Mull, Duart Point lighthouse, or light....we had not enough time to reach it because of the ferry to Oban.

In Oban there was Dunollie, that was easy, I could allmost pee on it from my bedroom window.

From Oban to Tarbert where had to arrange some B&B's for the next view days and then up to Mull of Kintyre lighthouse.
A narrow road with no end it seems.
Well it had an end, and that was a gate that was locked, so the rest of the trip we had to walk, but we were not alone.
A cloud was with us, it was wet and it blocked the view.
At the lighthouse it was foggy but we could make some pictures so it wasn't for nothing.
The way to the lighthouse was easy, gravity was with us, the way back it was against us, it took us twice aslong to get to the car.
