« on: February 15, 2018, 12:10:30 AM »
The Aniva lighthouse was built by the Japanese in 1939,
abandoned.
300kg pool of mercury for mercury-bath rotating lens,
is this the No.1 biggest mercury-bath rotating lens all over the world ?

What a shame, when the lighthouse will collapse? A lighthouse with such an interesting history!!
Check the Youtube video: https://youtu.be/zLw-r4VPzCM
This video about 12 abandoned places shows two other abandoned lighthouses, Fastnet lighthouse Ireland and the spectacular Tillamook lighthouse in Oregon, USA!
Great video!
