Title: Where is this lighthouse
Post by: Mizzou on November 02, 2013, 01:14:28 AM
Hi everyone, can anyone identify this lighthouse?  I initial thought would be Spain.

This is popular photobank picture, but nowhere indicated from what place it was taken. I have some doubts that this is Spain (very unusial for Spain lighthouses). Maybe Norway, they have such small towers everywhere. Will try to search more.

Hello William,

Thanks to our member Jaap Termes:

It`s Canada / British Columbia / Ucluelet / Amphitrite Point / G 5246
Placed the picture + another from nearly the same angle.

And as you are from Norfolk - Virginia, for sure there are a lot of nice lighthouses around you to place at lightphotos.

Best regards--Hans de Graaf.

I knew I know it. But at 83 one forgets. I just saw the answer from somebody else (CANADA)  and that I confirm with every fibre of my being.   IT IS:-   "Canada / British Columbia / Ucluelet / Amphitrite Point".
I swear!!. Gee, this fun, Dmitri
