Online list of lights shows four similar lights in front of Plymouth Breakwater lighthouse. This seems to be the situation 13 years ago! Now there are only 3 lights. Who can identify?

I have no experience about German lighthouse history. I suppose, there is no father of German lighthouses. A pretty short history about lighthouses you can find by https://www.leuchttuerme.net. , but you have to translate!

You are right, I missed Juelsand lighthouse, also some other lighthouses in Hamburg, see my to do list!
Juelsand seems to have no land access, but I have noticed for a picture from other side of river!
Maybe next year.
Now I preparing a trip to Teneriffa!

Mitko, you dont list Macau in the countries of Asia. I will upload some pics. But adding to China is not correct!

On a trip to Samut Sakhon, Mae Nam Tha Chin Entrance , I was surprised, when I took a boat to see the lights F2938-F2938.6 ! All lights were replaced by buoys! I took pictures from buoy 8,9,10. The boatsman told me, that many collisions with the lights were the reason for the replacement with buoys! Does the Admiralty knows these facts?

Preparing one of my next lighthouse trips to Wales and Southwest England in September! So I have found another twin lighthouse at the southernmost point of Englands mainland : The Lizard, ARLHS ENG-068!

On my trip to New England I have seen two twin lighthouses, Navesink in New Jersey and Thacher Island, Massachusetts. Today it is hard to understand, what is the need to build two expensive lighthouses at same place!
Are there more twins in other places than New England?
Attached two pictures from the Navesink. One picture shows the view from North to South tower. Third picture is a distant view to Thacher Island lighthouses, accessible only by boat. Boat tours are available in July an August!

I can agree, Cape Santiago Lighthouse is a very popular and interesting place in Taiwan! Inside the keepers house you can find a small museum describing the history of the most eastern lighthouse of Taiwan!

What a shame, when the lighthouse will collapse? A lighthouse with such an interesting history!!
