Title: Old Konstanza mole head light
Post by: kwolfgang on January 13, 2022, 03:38:40 PM
I found a picture of the Konstanza (Romania) harbor that dates between 1914 and 1917.
The quay shows a mole head light. I can't find a historic mape of the harbor. So I don't know if this quay or the light still exists.
Who can help to identify thsi old mole light?

Could this be https://www.lightphotos.net/photos/displayimage.php?pid=20977 (https://www.lightphotos.net/photos/displayimage.php?pid=20977) King Carol I lighthouse ?
It was built in 1913

This was my thought too. Looks like there was no other lighthouse at this time in Konstanza.
I found a second picture of the King Carol I lighthouses from Oct 1916. I might post the second one.
Many thanks.
