You might be right. I checked all the coastline and islands in the vicinity of Marseille but found no match. Could be a different area as well but on the other hand the rock formation points to the limestone alps.

This was my thought too. Looks like there was no other lighthouse at this time in Konstanza.
I found a second picture of the King Carol I lighthouses from Oct 1916. I might post the second one.

I found a picture of the Konstanza (Romania) harbor that dates between 1914 and 1917.
The quay shows a mole head light. I can't find a historic mape of the harbor. So I don't know if this quay or the light still exists.
Who can help to identify thsi old mole light?

Yesterday the attached picture was taken at Greesiel, Ostfriesland, Germany.
It looks similar to an entrance light of the Greetsiel harbour, but I can't find a clear match.
Guess it is something in between B1082 and B1086.
Any idea?

In 2013 I took a picture of a small light at the harbour of Bremerhaven, Germany (N 53.544961  E008.568303). The light is between semaphore and tide gauge. Who has information on this light. Is it still in use and is it registered?

I took pictures of an interesting building in Nova Scotia, Port Maitland (N43.984463  W066.157601).
It looks almost like a former lighthouse.
Are there information about an old light at Port Maitland ?
