Hello everybody,
in November 1996 I took a picture of a lightship at the "Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum" in Manhatten. The poor snap shot shows a lightship with Name Nantucket. I wonder if this is LV-112, although the aft sections looks different to other pictures I have seen of LV-112.
I'm very sure this is LV-112 (http://www.lightphotos.net/photos/displayimage.php?pid=9434)

Others looks different:
Nantucket I - WLV-612 (http://www.lightphotos.net/photos/displayimage.php?pid=14403)
and Nantucket II - WLV-613 (http://www.lightphotos.net/photos/displayimage.php?pid=14405)
Also here is a article regarding Nantucket lightstation: http://www.lighthousedigest.com/digest/StoryPage.cfm?StoryKey=312 (http://www.lighthousedigest.com/digest/StoryPage.cfm?StoryKey=312)
It is written that LV-112 was in Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in Manhattan
Many thanks Dmitry,
yes the pictures make it clear and especially the artical from Jan 1996 points to the fact that LV112 was in Manhatten at the time I took the picture.
Again thanks
Klaus
