Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse Tours
Over the last several months the US Army Corps of Engineers has been conducting a study of the breakwater on which Harbor of Refuge Light stands. They are looking at both the current stability of the breakwater and ways to reinforce and repair it. We were recently notified that they are finalizing their findings and expect to issue a report in the near future.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are following the Corps’ recommendation to not hold any activities at Harbor of Refuge Light until after that report has been issued and the findings reviewed. While we don’t anticipate any danger of having activities at the lighthouse in the near future, we always place safety first, and will not be taking reservations for lighthouse tours until we are certain it is safe.

Our hope is that the report will be completed soon, and we can publish tour dates and take reservations. We will update this page as we learn more.

Some things you might see or do on a Lighthouse Tour:

You get to ride the launch, either on deck or in the cabin.

You get to cruise by the Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse.

You'd get to ask questions of our lighthouse expert.

You might be chosen to open the door,

There are lots of photo opportunities.

Or you could watch the birds,

and enjoy watching the dolphins swimming by.

Or just enjoy the lights

Lighthouse Sunset Cruises are over for this year,
but here are a few photos from previous cruises.
