Admiralty is most common. It based on UKHO Admiralty List of Lights.
Based on this classification all world divided by areas. Every area has assigned letters, so the list number contains of letter - area + number of the light in the area. Important thing that admiralty list contains only active lights and only served for maritime lights. I.e. inactive lights are not listed and inland lights (i.e. great lakes) not listed as well

ARLHS is the classification based on the Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society. It is less official and doesn't contain of minor lights - lighthouses only, despite the thin line between light and lighthouse  :)  From other side it also contain of inactive and inland lighthouses. Details are here http://arlhs.com/ (http://arlhs.com/)

Also there are some other classifications:
NGA (simular to admiralty list but made by US authority). Actually US made two lists: NGA - whole world except US, USCG - all lights and aids to navigation of US. Admiralty list is commercial service, but US lists could be accessed via internet:
http://msi.nga.mil/NGAPortal/MSI.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=msi_portal_page_62&pubCode=0007 (http://msi.nga.mil/NGAPortal/MSI.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=msi_portal_page_62&pubCode=0007)
http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/?pageName=lightlists (http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/?pageName=lightlists)
They all divided into areas.
And in addition many countries have own lights classifications (only for own countries). I.e.:
Canada - CCG list of lights https://www.notmar.gc.ca/list-livre-en.php (https://www.notmar.gc.ca/list-livre-en.php)
Norway - Kystverket list of light http://www.kystverket.no/en/EN_Maritime-Services/Reporting-and-Information-Services/The-Norwegian-list-of-lights/ (http://www.kystverket.no/en/EN_Maritime-Services/Reporting-and-Information-Services/The-Norwegian-list-of-lights/)
and many others
