World of Lighthouses

Hi Michal, nice! Believe you should place this in the Taiwan album as Lighthouse & Foghorn. This lighthouse picture is enough different from the other you placed.

In the album with lighthouses the attention is given to the lighthouse; here in this album maybe to the horn, though its in the background; btw this foghorn is quite unusual, usualy I saw foghorns in some way intergrated with the lighhouses. Greetings Michal

Hi Michal! I believe we need to clarify this in the rules. I think we can place in countries albums active lighthouses / foghorns / abandoned lighthouses / lightships / some significant daymarks and vessel traffic service towers. What i don't want to see in the countries albums are the buoys because they are changing too fast to keep the site more less up-to-date.
I think i will update the rules soon. Also i agreed with your suggestion to include date of the picture, so i will also add this to the rules.

I thought the division is: 1/ all past and present lighthouses and lights 2/ all other navigation structures and other items.
The idea with the dates is (as I could understand from your introduction to the page) one of the essential points of this page ( registration of the changes in traditional navigation lights) - isn't it?
