Out of Galley Head there are 3 rocks, The Bull-, The Cow-& the Calf Rock.
To built a lighthouse on Calf Rock in 1864, the rock was bought of it's owner, Queen Victoria, for 26 pounds and 5 shillings.
After troubles with this light due to heavy seas the present light was built on the higher Bull Rock in 1889.
