I was near this lighthouse in January 2006 - then it was since many years inactive, there was no source of energy and the whole construction was abandoned and looked similar as on this picture. Question: is there in the chart an information about period of inactivity? I guess this lighthouse is still not active (on my picture from 2006 the lantern is in a bit better condition)

I don't know date of this photo - Russ Rowlett site list this light as vandalized few times but currently active. Also it is active in the chart. Australian maritime agency usually updates the charts regularly, so most probably currently it is really active.

do you see optic, bulb etc?
At least ... that night I was there it was no light...

Australian lighthouse society here also have some doubts about activity. I will correct the description.
