This fourth-order fresnel lens has proven to be somewhat of a mystery. I had thought that this was the original lens from Point Betsie, but that seems doubtful. After consulting with several area and regional lighthouse experts no one seems to know the origin of this lens and which lighthouse it came from. Is it possible to identify this lens from the number plate?
