The ship served for many years on the Goeree station, but it was transferred to Texel in 1988. In January 1991, it was swept ashore by a powerful winter storm and broke up on the dike. The square pyramidal skeletal light tower, with lantern and gallery, were salvaged and are displayed onshore. (Source)
