I am trying to identify this lighthouse (centre left) and the city. The location may be the German Baltic, definitely from the mid 1920's. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Kemper!
This is photo of Bergen, Norway. But as far as i know this building never served as lighthouse.
You can see modern picture of the same place here.
Best regards,
Dmitry

Dimitry:  Thank you for the quick reply. My task this morning was to work my way through the internet searching photos through Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The architecture looked German to me so I was convinced the photos was from the Baltic.

Once again many thanks for your efforts.

Dmitry:  Sorry for the incorrect spelling of your name previously.  I did check the historic section of the website and must say quite an pool of photos. With a little research the building I thought was a lighthouse turns out to be a clock tower and at one time the harbour office, now attached and part of a hotel. People refer to the climbing the stairs in this building as "climbing the lighthouse stairs".

Keep well and keep warm in Mother Russia.  All the best for the New Year.
